WSK Open Cup - Adria - Italy

The WSK Open Cup took place on the Adria circuit with two days of very intense races.

Our OKJ drivers were fast and competitive in both rounds and showing an excellent performance both in terms of driving and material.

In round 1, after completing all the heat with excellent performances, both drivers got the victory of their respective pre-finals and winning the front row for the final in which, after a series of nice overtaking they concluded with an excellent 2nd ( Tymoteusz Kucharczyk) and 3rd place (Karol Pasiewicz)

In the second round the performances were equally competitive; After a battled pre-final which established the start for the final in 8th position for PASIEWICZ and in 12th for Kucharczyk, a good comeback with an excellent race pace allowed them to close respectively in 4th and 6th position the second final won by Stenshorne Martinius of the team Leclerc by Lennox Racing to whom we congratulate

In the OK category, Cristian Bertuca causes two accidents in both first heats of the two races was forced into a comeback race; a technical problem forced him to retire in final 1 while an excellent recovery with a very good race pace led him to close final 2 in 6th position

Luca Filini Team Manager commented: "With this race we conclude the BirelART season which was very positive and full of victories in all the classes. We are very happy with the performance of the material and the work done by the whole team and I want to thanks the mechanics, engineers , engine’s to tuner and all the people who contributed to obtaining the results we achieved. We have already started to prepare the new season with new drivers, confirmed drivers and category changes with the aim of reconfirming ourselves at the top in all classes.
