Top 10 for Ricciardo Kart in the closing act of the KFJ Europeans

With Jules Bianchi in their hearts, Ricciardo Kart Racing team wrapped up their first experience in the CIK-FIA European KFJ Championship in the Top 10.
In the Final, Rasmus Lindh couldn’t give full show of his full potential because of a technical problem ensued after a contact. Thirteenth at the go, the Swede immediately climbed to eleventh, the glitch then made him drop to sixteenth, but one fast lap after another he worked his way back up to eleventh. He had also been very competitive in the Prefinal: sixteenth at the start, he kept a great pace and with a sequence of overtakes managed to come in seventh under the checkered flag, proving to be one of the fastest on track.
Rasmus Lindh, #206: “It was an unlucky weekend. If it hadn’t been for the technical problem, we could have won the Final! It’s a shame because we started the weekend with the second best qualifying time and fighting for the top spots in the Heats. I can’t wait to be back on track in La Conca for the World Championship. Thank you, Ricciardo Kart!”
Gianluca Beggio, General Manager: “We were competitive in every session – wet or dry; but track conditions kept changing, making the good luck/bad luck factor very determinant. It’s really too bad for the problem we had during the Prefinal; without it, we would’ve battled for victory. Overall, though, we showed good performance levels, so thumbs up.”
