Birel ART in Le Mans for the CIK-FIA KZ and KZ2 World Championships

On 10-13 September 2015 Birel ART will debut in the CIK-FIA World KZ Championship and the CIK-FIA International KZ2 Super Cup on the Le Mans Karting International Circuit in France.

The Factory Team will be represented by Jordon Lennox-Lamb in KZ and by Marijn Kremers and Giorgio Mandozzi in KZ2.

Jordon Lennox-Lamb, #7: β€œI can’t wait to be back on track. Last week’s tests allowed us to perfect the areas that needed improvement. It’s the World Championship, so I’ll try to stand out on track, driving past the limit. After spending the last week of August in the Factory, I saw how incredibly determined the whole Team is and this is fantastic because it means we are all motivated to reach the same goal.”

Marijn Kremers, #108: β€œI’ve never competed in Le Mans, so I don’t know what to expect from the track; but from what I gathered during the tests, it looks like a great circuit. I don’t know what to expect, but I know we’ll battle for the top positions.”

Giorgio Mandozzi, #139: β€œI feel pretty good going into International Supercup, because I spent summer break training consistently. Considering the result we achieved in the last round of the Europeans in Genk, I think we have good chances to battle at mid-field and collect an important result.”

Gianluca Beggio, General Manager: β€œWe’ll be racing for results! We spent last week on track in Le Mans with our Test Team to find an optimal technical package to start with, so we’ll be able to face the race weekend as best as possible. It’s a one-off chance, so it’ll be tougher than the European Championship on multiple rounds and the weather is also an uncertainty factor.”
